Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland The Muktananda Dhyana Saptah is an opportunity for experienced meditators to spend a day in silence, focused fully on the practice of meditation. This event is designed for Siddha Yoga students who have established a regular meditation practice and can meditate for extended periods. The day includes a succession of extended meditations, reflecting on teachings from Gurumayi Chidvilasananda and Baba Muktananda, chanting the Siddha Yoga mantra, and the practice of silence. Silence is observed at the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland on the day of the event. Prerequisites:
To register Participants of the Dhyana Saptah are encouraged to participate in the daily schedule at the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland over the weekend. You may choose to check-in the ashram on Friday evening and stay through Sunday. This is an opportunity for you to focus your entire weekend on the Siddha Yoga practices and teachings.
