Siddha Yoga Practice Retreat

For Kishors and Yuvas (age 13-24)

Blaze the Trail of Equipoise and Enter the Heart,
the Divine Splendor

Siddha Yoga Ashram in Oakland
July 12 – 13, 2012

In the supportive environment of the Siddha Yoga Practices Retreat for Kishors and Yuvas, young people immerse themselves in meditation, chanting, study, and reflection.

At the core of the retreat are three innovative and highly interactive learning sessions focusing on teachings from Gurumayi’s 1995 Message talk, Blaze the Trail of Equipoise and Enter the Heart, the Divine Splendor. As a retreat participant, you explore with other Kishors and Yuvas the nature of sadhana and its ultimate goal. You also explore equipoise and discover its significance for the spiritual path.

Led by a Siddha Yoga Practices Retreat teacher, this retreat offers young people an opportunity to explore the nature of sadhana as well as the meaning of equipoise and its significance on the spiritual path. This retreat is a day and a half in length.

Following the retreat, kishors (ages 13 – 17) are warmly invited to continue their learning as participants and sevites in the Siddha Yoga Family Retreat from July 14 to July 17, 2012. Yuvas (ages 18 – 24) are also warmly invited to join the Siddha Yoga Family Retreat through the practice of seva. See more information about the Siddha Yoga Family Retreat.
