Home > Our Community > Families & Children > Family Events Family Events One of the following family events takes place every Sunday from 10:30am - noon. Family Satsangs are designed to be engaging and thought-provoking for families and children of all ages. Each satsang explores a different aspect of Siddha Yoga philosophy and culture through art, movement, plays, contemplation, sharing, games, and other creative expressions. There is also plenty of time to connect with other families. Village Satsangs are Family Satsangs to which everyone in the community is welcome. They are a chance for seekers of all ages to come together to share their wisdom and light. Please check the calendar for the next Village Satsang. Family Seva Days give families an opportunity to participate in the spiritual practice of guruseva together. We spend time taking care of sacred spaces in the ashram, including the Bhagawan Nityananda Temple and Shambho Hall. In this way families can offer their gratitude and love. Please check the calendar for the next Family Seva Day. Outings Gatherings for Kumars (Children 10 - 12 years) As children move into their pre-teen years, they begin to question the world around them and their place in it. It is at this age that children begin to establish their own relationship with their spirituality. To support them in this, there are Kumar gatherings, in which they come together to meet other children asking the same questions and explore together through games, experiences, study, learning, and discussion. Please check the calendar for the next Gathering. Other Families Events Courses
